At Loot and Lore, every item is crafted with care and respect for traditional Indigenous artistry. Because many of our products are handmade or custom‑made, we want to ensure our policies are transparent and fair.

1. All Sales Are Final

Due to the handcrafted and often custom nature of our products:

  • All sales are final.

  • We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for change of mind, sizing issues, or natural variations in handmade items.

These variations are part of the authenticity and uniqueness of each piece.

2. Custom Orders

Custom items are made specifically for you and therefore:

  • Are non‑refundable and non‑returnable

  • Include one revision unless otherwise stated

  • Additional revisions or customization may incur extra fees

Please review all details carefully before approving custom work.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, we will work with you to make it right.

To report an issue:

  1. Contact us at info@lootandlore.ca within 7 days of receiving your order

  2. Provide your order number

  3. Include clear photos of the item and packaging

We may offer a replacement or store credit depending on the situation. Items damaged due to misuse, improper care, or normal wear are not eligible.

4. Lost or Stolen Packages

Once an order has been shipped:

  • Loot and Lore is not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages

  • Claims may need to be filed directly with the shipping carrier

We will assist where possible, but we cannot guarantee reimbursement from carriers.

5. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout:

  • Additional shipping fees may apply to resend the package

  • Refunds are not available for address errors

6. Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges at this time due to the handmade nature of our products.
